The Referral Process
Referrals to the ADRC must be made by a GP, health professional or others such as social services, probation service - and we are open to referrals from anywhere in the UK.
Please note however that we do not accept self-referrals from individuals or their family.
Individuals suspected of having Asperger's Syndrome must give prior consent before being referred.
Referrals can be made online via a secure log in page - where the referral form can either be filled in online or a pdf form can be downloaded. Please note. The referal system is undergoing final testing and will be available shortly.
The information gained from the referral form provides the basis on which the assessment can be built. Each assessment and the follow-on report are completely tailored to the needs of the individual - so no two are likely to be the same.
Rather than repeat investigations that the individual may have already undergone, we aim to collate and review existing information and where appropriate to supplement that with further specialist assessments.
