The Assessment
The assessment process comprises one essential element, the Triage Review and four flexible components:
-
Component 1: Diagnostic Assessment
-
Component 2: Neuropsychological Profile
-
Component 3: Psychiatric Review / Assessment
-
Component 4: Post-diagnostic Review
As part of the Triage Review, the referred individual will be asked permission for access to their relevant medical records and will also be sent a number of self-rating questionnaires. This information is collated and reviewed by the clinical team.
Following the Triage Review, the ADRC Clinical Team will make recommendations as to which components, will be most appropriate. These components may be added, either singularly, or in any combination, to an assessment. As a general rule, we would expect that two other components would be necessary in order to make a firm diagnosis.
